We’ve really upgraded our patio this year and I’m so happy with how it’s looking!

We started off by redoing the patio cover. It was rotting and we would get paint chips everywhere! So, we had it taken off and reinstalled.

Couch Flip

I found the most beautiful outdoor couch on Facebook Marketplace for $100 and decided to breathe some new life into it! The wood was all nasty, so I painted the wood white and removed the slip covers. I soaked the covers for 8 hours in Lavenderful Clean and it really worked!

Since this couch is 2nd hand, I can’t link to it. But, here are some other outdoor furniture options I just love as well as our fire pit, rug, and throw pillows!

Plants & Landscaping

We also installed irrigation so our plants back here can grow ☺️ We got Bower Vines for $65 each. For such big, established plants, that’s a great deal! We lead the drip irrigation to these so that they can grow up to the top of the awning. This will make it look so magical!

I attached these vine clips to individual vines against the wall. It always looks a little bit awkward at first because the vines have to relax and grow out a little. But in about a month, these will look so beautiful!

For the landscaping around the yard, here are the plants we got!

We made sure to wrap each plant in gopher wire baskets so nothing gets eaten!

Walkway Pavers

I’ve been so ready to get rid of this walkway back here and replace it with pavers. We got it jackhammered and removed and I was so excited because I’ve always hated it!! Haha. We got our pavers from a local store - but they are tumbled natural stone. We lead the drip system in between each paver so our plants would be able to grow between each one!

Dining Area

I got this table here secondhand and I love it (linked similar option below)! I got these rattan pendants to hang over the table that I had to get professionally installed since there was no electrical box here. We also hung up these white bistro lights.

I also got 2 little wood picnic tables for the littles and they’re so cute! I built it myself and it was so easy! Now the kids have a designated seating area for our outdoor gatherings.

Window Shutters

Skyler made some super easy window shutters and we painted them Porcelain Blue by Benjamin Moore. It’s the perfect accent color!
